Education Ministry Launches Online Applications for University Bridging Program

Amman: The Unified Admission Coordination Unit at the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development has announced the commencement of online applications for the bridging program at Jordan's public universities. The application process, which began on Sunday, will remain open until midnight on Thursday, Sept. 10.

According to Jordan News Agency, students can submit their applications through the unit's website using the online application portal. Eligibility for the program is divided into two distinct categories. The first category includes students who are among the top 5 percent in the comprehensive examination for the 2025-2026 academic year, as determined by Al-Balqa Applied University. These students bypass the bridging admission examination but must pay a JD15 application fee via the electronic payment system eFAWATEERcom, using the payment number provided after saving their application.

The second category of eligible students includes those ranked among the top 5 percent based on their cumulative GPA in each specialization at their respective colleges or universities. This category includes graduates from the previous summer semester of the 2024-2025 academic year and those from the first and second semesters of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Students in this group must take the bridging admission examination organized by the Unified Admission Coordination Unit. They are required to pay a JD15 application fee along with a JD50 examination fee through eFAWATEERcom, using the payment number provided after saving their application. Applicants can modify their submitted choices at any time during the application window. Notably, pharmacy diploma holders with a General Secondary Education Certificate in the scientific stream are eligible to bridge into a pharmacy specialization, provided they were admitted to the intermediate diploma program before the first semester of the 2022-2023 academic year.
