Cairo: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, emphasized the need for the complete implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. This includes ensuring the consistent and unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid to the region and opposing any efforts to displace Palestinians from their homeland.
According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting in Cairo highlighted the urgency of initiating Gaza's reconstruction and reviving the political process aimed at achieving a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace, in line with the two-state solution.
The leaders also addressed several international matters, stressing the importance of resolving conflicts through peaceful means that uphold the unity and integrity of states and safeguard the resources of their populations.
