Egypt's Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation expressed its sincere condolences to Sudan following the collapse of the Arbaat Dam in Khor Arbaat Basin in the Red Sea coastal state. The dam is one of the main water sources that feed the city of Port Sudan, and its collapse led to floods that swept away villages located around it, killing and injuring numerous civilians.
