Egypt, Saudi Arabia express concern over humanitarian disaster in Gaza Strip

Egypt and Saudi Arabia expressed concern on Wednesday over the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip and the brutal war it is witnessing. The two sides stressed in a joint statement at the conclusion of the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Egypt and his meeting with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the importance of the international community assuming its responsibilities and working to achieve an immediate ceasefire in Lebanon. In international affairs, the two sides renewed, according to the statement, their determination to continue coordination and intensify efforts aimed at preserving international peace and security. They exchanged views on issues of concern to the two countries on the regional and international arenas, and stressed their determination to enhance cooperation and joint coordination towards them.
