Egypt, Serbia ties greatly growing

Egypt's ambassador to Serbia Basel Salah stressed that political, economic and cultural relations between Cairo and Belgrade have been greatly growing after President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's historic visit to Serbia in 2022 that gave momentum to bilateral relations. Ambassador Basil Salah added, in a statement on Friday 12/7/2024, that President Sisi's visit to Serbia witnessed a strong start in cultural relations between the two countries. During the visit, five cooperation agreements were signed between Egypt and Serbia in the cultural field, including cooperation in the fields of cultural education, exchange of popular groups, and exchange of experiences, as well as in art academies in the field of painting or sculpture.
