Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Karim Badawi met at the Petroleum Ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital a host of Egypt's newly-appointed US ambassador to Egypt Herro Mustafa Garg. The two sides discussed the ways to cement oil-linked cooperation between Cairo and Washington. They also probed means to strengthen bilateral cooperation through the US companies operating in Egypt in the fields of petroleum, natural gas and energy. They reviewed the ministry's priorities for decarbonising the oil and gas sector.
