Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Affairs Kamel al-Wazir met Tuesday with U.S. Ambassador Hero Mostafa to discuss bolstering American investments in the sectors of new and renewable energy, green hydrogen, manufacturing of solar cells and wind turbines, locomotives, automotives, and various green industries. Wazir, who is also the minister of industry and energy, pointed out that Egypt could be the base for export to Arab and African states, especially that it is setting up 31 dry ports and logistics zones that are connected with railways, main roads, and seaports. In September, the national dialogue between the two countries will be held followed by meetings of the joint economic committee where MoUs may be signed on partnerships in different economic sectors.
