In a thrilling display of strength, Egyptian weightlifter Sara Samir lifted her way to a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Competing in the 81kg category, Samir achieved a combined lift of 268kg, with impressive lifts of 151kg in the clean and jerk and 117kg in the snatch. This silver medal adds to her impressive Olympic resume, following her bronze medal from the Rio 2016 Games.
