Eid al-Fitr Garment Supplies Available in ‘Large’ Quantities, Says Stakeholder

Amman: President of the Textile, Readymade Clothes and Footwear Syndicate, Sultan Allan, announced that garment and footwear supplies are available in "large and sufficient" quantities in the local market, both in terms of quantity and variety. He assured that prices will remain "unchanged" in the coming period.

According to Jordan News Agency, Sultan Allan stated in a conversation with "Petra" that the imported stock is "ample even after the Eid season," dismissing concerns over potential shortages. He highlighted that the "large quantities" that have arrived in the Kingdom are sufficient to meet demand.

Sultan emphasized that importers and merchants have brought in "considerable" quantities from various sources to fulfill citizens' requirements, particularly during the Eid al-Fitr season. Additionally, he praised the government's efforts to ensure the sustainability of energy and electricity security, as well as the Kingdom's supply chains.
