EMRC Processes 958 Licensing Applications, Rejects Seven in October.

Amman: The Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) received 958 licensing applications across various sectors in October, rejecting seven of them. According to Jordan News Agency, the approved applications included 500 in the natural resources sector, 262 in the radiological and nuclear sector, 153 in the oil and derivatives sector, and 36 in the electricity and renewable energy sector. Notable applications included 21 requests for public charging station permits, two requests for public charging station licenses, 105 requests to operate central liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) facilities, seven applications for establishing fuel stations, 165 for exporting raw materials, and 293 for importing raw materials. The rejected applications consisted of two requests to establish LPG cylinder distribution agencies, four for establishing fuel stations, and one for a public charging station permit.
