Amman: The Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) announced it received 1,183 applications for licenses across various sectors in July, with five applications in the oil and derivatives sector not approved.
According to Jordan News Agency, the breakdown of the applications included 343 in the radiation and nuclear work sector, 16 in electricity and renewable energy, 539 in natural resources, and 285 in oil and derivatives. The commission shared this information on its website, highlighting the breadth of interest in these sectors.
