The European Commission said it has processed a payment of pound 16 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). According to the European Commission website, this payment is the third provided to the agency since the beginning of 2024, stressing that the European Union will contribute pound 82 million to UNRWA this year.
