Amman: Cinema has the power to transcend borders and to bring people together. This year's selection emphasizes empathy and dialogue. "Our festival is a testament to the friendship and deep bonds between Jordan and Europe," said EU Ambassador Pierre-Christophe Chatzisavas.
According to European Union, the European Film Festival is about movies but it also constitutes a platform for exchange and learning. Filmmakers from Austria, Greece, Sweden, and the UK will engage with audiences in Q and A sessions and lead four workshops for professionals and young talents.
Screenings will run from 13 to 30 September at the Royal Film Commission in Amman and extend to Ajloun, Aqaba, Irbid, Jerash, Wadi Rum, Salt, and Zarqa, ensuring access to diverse audiences across the Kingdom.
