The majority of exports came from the Al Hassan Industrial City, which accounted for nearly 96% of the total exports, followed by Cyber City with 3%, and the main office with 1%.
Chamber President Hani Abu Hassan stated that the growth in the total value of certificates of origin issued by the Irbid Chamber of Industry in February was a result of significant growth in exports from the leather, textile, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.
He added that exports under the Arab Trade Agreement fell by 11% month-on-month in February, reaching about $6.9 million compared to $7.8 million last year.
Abu Hassan also noted that exports under trade agreements made up 85.8% of total exports.
