Amman: Interior Minister Mazen Faraya on Thursday engaged in discussions with Iraqi Minister of Migration and Displacement Evan Faeq Yaqoub, focusing on the brotherly bilateral relations and common interests shared by their respective nations. The meeting, held in Amman, covered key issues surrounding migration and asylum, as well as the conditions faced by Iraqi citizens residing in Jordan.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry statement emphasized the areas of cooperation between the Jordanian Ministry of Interior and the Iraqi Ministry of Migration. The discussions primarily revolved around the voluntary repatriation of Iraqi refugees and explored avenues for further joint collaboration to enhance mutual interests.
