Fifth Session Of Egyptian-Kuwaiti Consular Committee Kicks Off

The fifth session of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti consular committee was held on Tuesday 27/8/2024 in Cairo. The session was held under the co-chairmanship of Egypt's Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs and Egyptians Abroad Ismail Khairat and Kuwaiti Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Ambassador Aziz al Daihani. The session was held in support of the close ties binding Egypt and Kuwait, as well as the two countries' keenness on enhancing consular cooperation. The agenda of the meeting tackled a host of consular issues related to visas process and accommodation. The two sides also agreed to identify points of contacts between the health ministries of the two countries in order to activate a joint memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in the health and pharmaceutical sphere. In this regard, the two sides underlined the importance of holding regular meetings, due to their effective role in attaining the aspirations of the Egyptian and Kuwaiti peoples.
