Refueling at gas stations was up 1.7% in 2023, compared to the previous year, according to the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission's latest bulletin. It revealed that filling up on 90-octane gasoline dropped 6.8%, 95-octane gasoline rose 2.8%, diesel surged 8.9%, and kerosene shot up to 34.8%. Licenses granted in the oil derivatives sector were up 14.7%, fuel stations 58.8% and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) facilities 15.2%, according to the bulletin.
