The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Monday, the finding of 54 artifacts in Diwaniyah Governorate. The Antiquities and Heritage Protection Police Directorate revealed, according to a statement by the Ministry of Interior, that the detachments of the Diwaniyah Antiquities and Heritage Department began forming a working team in cooperation with a citizen, where a group of artifacts, numbering 54, dating back to different eras were handed over to the Diwaniyah Antiquities and Heritage Department. The statement added, a formal seizure report was organized and the artifact was handed over to the Diwaniyah Antiquities and Heritage Inspectorate Department in accordance with the law and regulations.
