Firefighters Extinguish Carpentry Fire in Downtown

Amman: Firefighters from the East Amman Civil Defence Department on Sunday evening extinguished a fire that broke out at a carpentry in downtown Amman, according to the Public Security Directorate (PSD).

According to Jordan News Agency, the PSD media office stated that the fire covered an area of approximately 200 square meters. Firefighters worked diligently to bring the blaze under control and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring shops and buildings. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.

The PSD also addressed a video circulating on social media showing two people falling during a fire, clarifying that it is old footage and unrelated to the recent incident. They urged Jordanians to verify information before sharing or publishing outdated footage as if it were connected to current events.
