First project to generate electricity from Jordanian gas to kick off Thursday

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Dr. Saleh Kharabsheh, is scheduled to inaugurate the electricity generation project aimed to cover the energy consumption needs of the factory affiliated with the National Chlorine Industries Co. Ltd on Thursday. In an Energy Ministry statement, the project is the "first of its kind" in the Kingdom using Jordanian gas produced from the Risha field. Source: Jordan News Agency
