Five suspects arrested and the seizure of unlicensed weapons in Baghdad, Babylon and Maysan

The Federal Police Command announced the arrest of 5 suspects and the seizure of unlicensed weapons in Baghdad, Babylon and Maysan. The Command stated in a statement: The security effort of the Federal Police units, with the support of the intelligence effort, resulted in the arrest of 5 suspects in accordance with the provisions of the legal articles (threat, rape, execution, violators of residency conditions) in the areas of (Karrada, municipalities) in Baghdad, and the area of (Iskandariyah) in Babylon Governorate. He added that a force from the 11th Brigade of the 3rd Division of the Federal Police in Maysan Governorate carried out a security operation to search for unlicensed weapons in (Al-Mudathira) area, which resulted in the seizure of (3 different types of rifles). Likewise, detachments from the 6th Brigade of the 2nd Division of the Federal Police in Baghdad Governorate were able to carry out a campaign to search for unlicensed weapons in (Al-Bayaa) area, which resulted in the seizure of (a Kalas hnikov rifle, ammunition magazines with bullets), and the accused were referred with the seized weapons to the competent authorities.
