FM hails national role of Egyptian media and opinion leaders

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty on Thursday 5/8/2024 emphasized the crucial national role played by Egyptian media and opinion leaders in informing the public opinion of foreign policy issues and the most important challenges facing them and clarifying Egyptian positions on these issues, especially in light of the current time that is witnessing escalating and unprecedented challenges surrounding Egypt regionally and internationally. Abu Zeid added that the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration reviewed the most important features of the principle of "strategic balance" in Egypt's foreign policy, and its application in Egypt's relations with its strategic partners. He also stressed that the priorities of Egyptian foreign policy at the present time focus on the centrality of the citizen's role, developing the consular services system, strengthening economic and investment relations with various countries of the world, as well as making good use of Egypt's soft power elements and promoting them.
