FM holds phone calls with Lebanese PM, FM

Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdel Atty held two phone calls with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Foreign Minister Abdallah Bouhbib. During these conversations, Dr. Abdel Atty expressed Egypt's full solidarity with Lebanon and condemned any threats to its stability and safety. He highlighted concerns over the escalating tensions between Hezbollah and Israel and their potential impact on Lebanon's security. The Foreign Minister informed the Lebanese leaders of Egypt's efforts to de-escalate tensions and prevent a large-scale conflict that could destabilize the region. The Lebanese officials expressed deep appreciation for Egypt's support and confidence that Egyptian initiatives aim to protect Lebanese interests.
