Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Wednesday met with Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Niels Annen.
The two ministers discussed ways to enhance bilateral ties and regional and international issues.
The meeting covered the Jordanian-German governmental talks for development cooperation currently being held in Amman, which deal with priorities and priority sectoral projects, and the development aid that Germany will provide to Jordan.
Safadi valued the Germany’s support to the Kingdom to back the development process and to help Jordan deal with the repercussions of regional crises.
Talks included the Palestinian cause, support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), efforts to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis, support for Iraq and its stability, and energy and food security issues.
