FM receives the Minister-President of the State of Bavaria

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, received on October 3, 2024, the Minister-President of the German State of Bavaria, Markus Söder. The Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Ambassador Tamim Khallaf, stated that Minister Abdelatty affirmed the deep-rooted Egypt-Germany relations and commended the distinguished levels they have reached in various political and economic fields. He also expressed appreciation for the activity of German companies investing in Egypt, as well as aspiration for further investments and visits by businessmen delegations from the state of Bavaria to explore possible cooperation opportunities between the two sides, in light of the opportunities available in Egypt for investing in many promising fields. The Spokesperson added that Minister Abdelatty explained that major German companies play a prominent role in the development process in Egypt, namely in infrastructure modernization pro jects. The Foreign Minister also outlined the national vision for Egypt to be a regional energy hub with its traditional and renewable sources. In this regard, he affirmed Egypt's commitment to providing the necessary facilitations to German investors, while reviewing the extensive reforms carried out by the Egyptian government to upgrade economic and financial policies in order to attract foreign investments.
