Munich: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, emphasized Jordan's unwavering stance against the displacement of Palestinians, stating that Gaza can be reconstructed without uprooting its residents. According to Jordan News Agency, Safadi made these remarks during a dialogue session with the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas. The session, moderated by Christiane Amanpour, took place on the sidelines of the 61st Munich Security Conference. Safadi highlighted that Palestinians desire to continue living on their land, and he emphasized the importance of achieving peace that respects everyone's rights. He advocated for the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state that can coexist peacefully with Israel, based on the two-state solution. Furthermore, Safadi engaged in discussions with Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and Maxime Prévot, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation. The talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing joint coordination on regional developments.
