Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, stressed the importance of US assistance provided to support the Kingdom’s development process and face consequences of regional crises.
Safadi’s remarks came during his meeting on Sunday with US Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Elizabeth Allen.
Safadi and Allen discussed ways to enhance Jordan-US cooperation in various fields and stressed the “deep-rooted, strategic” partnership between the two countries and their keenness to develop it, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
