Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi held a phone call on Wednesday with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during which they discussed a number of bilateral issues as well as developments in Gaza, the West Bank, and Syria.
According to Jordan News Agency, the two ministers emphasized the importance of adhering to the Gaza ceasefire agreement and commencing its second phase. They also highlighted the need to unite efforts to halt the Israeli escalation in the occupied West Bank.
The ministers reaffirmed their continued cooperation and coordination to support Syria and the Syrian government's efforts to rebuild. They stressed maintaining security, stability, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of Syrian citizens.
