Amman: In implementation of Royal directives, Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday ordered the dispatch of a Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft to evacuate a six-year-old Jordanian child who was injured in a traffic accident in the United Arab Emirates.
According to Jordan News Agency, the evacuation was carried out in coordination with the Jordanian Embassy in Abu Dhabi. A specialised medical team from the Royal Jordanian Air Force Medical Corps accompanied the child to ensure he received the necessary medical care during the transfer to the Kingdom.
The aircraft arrived at Marka Military Airport on Wednesday evening, where the child was transferred to King Hussein Medical City to continue treatment and receive the necessary care from specialised medical teams.
The child's family expressed gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, commending the efforts of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army in serving and supporting Jordanian citizens under all circumstances.
The operation reflects the Royal directives and the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army's commitment to providing assistance and support to Jordanian citizens, particularly in urgent medical and humanitarian cases, both inside and outside the Kingdom.
