Foreign Military Attach©s Visit Jordan’s CBRN and Military Women Training Centers

Amman: A number of foreign military attach©s accredited to Jordan visited the Advanced Training Center for Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CBRN) under the Chemical Support Group on Wednesday, in the presence of the Director of the Royal Engineering Corps.

According to Jordan News Agency, during the visit, the delegation received a briefing on the center's work, which focuses on achieving the highest levels of protection against factors associated with weapons of mass destruction and hazardous materials. The briefing highlighted the use of specialized halls, laboratories, and training fields for detection, reconnaissance, verification, decontamination, and modern practical training methods that simulate real scenarios.

The delegation toured the center's facilities, including fixed and mobile laboratories, training fields, and other specialized areas, praising the center's advanced level both nationally and regionally.

In a related visit, the delegation also toured the Military Women Training Center, where they were received by the Director of Military Women Affairs and the center commander.

The attach©s were briefed on the center's role in qualifying and training female officers and non-commissioned officers in the armed forces to achieve the highest levels of competency and excellence.

The delegation toured the center's facilities and departments to observe its role in preparing women serving in the armed forces, commending the center's efforts in developing military training programs for women in the Jordan Armed Forces.
