Amman: Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi welcomed the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, who is on an official visit to Jordan that began on Sunday. The discussions focused on strengthening the ties between Jordan and Iraq, enhancing cooperation across various sectors with the Kurdistan Region and addressing the broader regional situation.

According to Jordan News Agency, during his visit, Barzani had a meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II. The meeting underscored the commitment of both parties to bolster their relationship and explore new avenues for collaboration that would benefit both regions.
