Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Joe Wilson, Chair of the Subcommittee on the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia of the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, during his participation in the NATO summit. The meeting reviewed the historic relations between Bahrain and the United States and discussed ways to enhance cooperation across various domains within the framework of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA). The meeting also discussed current developments in the Middle East, the outcomes of the recent Arab summit held in Bahrain, and initiatives adopted by the summit, including the international peace conference to establish a Palestinian state and the provision of educational and health services to those affected by regional conflicts. The meeting was attended by Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the USA, Ambassador Saeed Abdul Khaliq Saeed, Director of the Coordinat ion and Follow up Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the delegation accompanying the Foreign Minister.
