Foreign minister slams Israel’s ‘lies’ on Gaza war

Amman: Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi Monday denounced extremist Israeli politicians' narrative regarding the war on Gaza and those levelled at Jordan. Safadi wrote on X, "Extremist Israeli politicians' fabricated rumours and lies, including those targeting Jordan, cannot hide the reality of the Israeli aggression on Gaza," adding, "Israel's] violations of international law and violating the rights of the Palestinian people are the biggest threat to regional security and stability." "The facts expose the lies, and the facts show the brutality of the aggression on Gaza and the horror it imposes on Palestinian women, men and children. They reflect the seriousness of the threat posed by the policies of this most extremist Israeli government in the history of Israel and its illegal measures to the security and stability of the region," he added.
