Foreign Ministry Extends Sympathies to Pakistan Over Devastating Floods

Amman: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed its deepest condolences to the brotherly Islamic Republic of Pakistan over victims of the recent floods, torrents, and landslides caused by heavy rains that struck several provinces.

According to Jordan News Agency, the disaster claimed hundreds of lives, including members of Pakistani rescue units who tragically perished in a helicopter crash. In a statement released on Saturday, the ministry's official spokesperson, Dr. Sufyan Qudah, affirmed the Kingdom's full sympathy and solidarity with the Pakistani government and people during this painful tragedy.

Dr. Qudah also extended profound condolences to the families of the victims and expressed wishes for a speedy recovery for those injured in the disaster.
