Amman: Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs for Diplomatic and Expatriates Affairs, Majid Qatarneh, received on Monday a copy of the credentials of the new ambassador of Iraq, Omar Ahmed Karim Al-Barazanchi, as the accredited and resident ambassador to the Kingdom. According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting took place as part of the formal procedures for accrediting ambassadors in the Kingdom. Omar Ahmed Karim Al-Barazanchi is set to assume his duties in strengthening the diplomatic relations between Iraq and the Kingdom. This move comes as both nations aim to bolster their bilateral ties and cooperation on various fronts. The exchange of credentials is a significant step in formalizing Al-Barazanchi's role as the representative of Iraq in the Kingdom, marking the beginning of his diplomatic mission.
