Foreign Ministry Signs MoU to Institutionalize Activation of Jordanians’ Involvement Abroad

Amman: Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ambassador Daifallah Al-Fayez and Head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission in Jordan Fatima Nasrat Ghazali on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding to launch a project titled “Institutionalizing the Activation of the Role of Jordanians Abroad in Supporting Development in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Knowledge Transfer.” The two-year project, implemented in partnership with several ministries, national institutions, United Nations agencies, and the private sector, aims to build a sustainable partnership with Jordanians living abroad and strengthen their role in supporting development and economic modernization efforts.

According to Jordan News Agency, the initiative seeks to encourage investment and facilitate the transfer of expertise and knowledge, contributing to the support of the national economy and the creation of job opportunities for youth and women.
