Amman, National Forum to Support Resistance and Protect the Homeland on Tuesday held a national event with participation of a number of political parties, national personalities and civil society institutions.
Speaking at the gathering, speakers emphasized the importance of the Hashemite Custodianship over Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem’s Al-Quds Al-Sharif and rejected Israel’s flagrant aggression against Palestinians and holy sites.
The speakers also affirmed Jordanian people’s right to defend Jordan’s and Arab causes and expressed support to Palestinian people to return to their land.
Secretary-General of Islamic Action Front (IAF) Party, Murad Adaileh, said this forum has brought together a “wide” Jordanian participation, based on the Kingdom’s national vision that rejects Israel’s hard-line practices and its threat to Islamic and Christian sanctities in Jerusalem’s Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
Meanwhile, the forum’s head, Abdel-Fattah Kilani, lauded Palestinian people’s steadfastness on their land and their resistance to Israel’s projects, highlighting need for concerted efforts to provide all forms of support for Palestinian resistance efforts.
