Amman: Four people were killed and two others injured after a vehicle overturned on the Desert Highway in the Al-Jurf area of Ma'an Governorate, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said on Sunday.
According to Jordan News Agency, the PSD's spokesperson mentioned that rescue and ambulance teams from the Civil Defence Directorate assigned to the Desert Highway, together with police personnel, responded to the accident. The crash resulted in the fatalities of four individuals and left two others, all Arab nationals, suffering from various fractures, bruises, and other injuries.
Ambulance crews provided first aid to the injured before transferring them to Ma'an Government Hospital, while the bodies of the victims were also evacuated to the hospital. The two injured remain under medical treatment, and a traffic investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
