Amman: The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources' Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee announced on Saturday a slight reduction in the prices of both grades of gasoline for December. The committee also decided to maintain the current kerosene prices and implement a slight increase in diesel prices for the same period. According to Jordan News Agency, the selling price of 90-octane gasoline has been adjusted to JD0.860 per liter, down from JD0.865. Similarly, the price of 95-octane gasoline has been reduced to JD1.105 per liter, from JD1.110. Meanwhile, the price of diesel will see a small rise, with a liter now costing JD0.680, up from JD0.675. The price of kerosene remains unchanged at JD0.620 per liter, and the cost of a 12.5kg cooking gas cylinder continues to be JD7.00. The committee's decision came after its monthly meeting, where it reviewed global oil prices for November to set the domestic prices for the upcoming month. During November, the benchmark Brent crude price was approximately $74.5 per bar rel, slightly lower than October's price of $75.8 per barrel.
