Amman:A fugitive with a 20-year prison sentence and five judicial warrants was apprehended following a police ambush, as reported by the Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Sunday.
According to Jordan News Agency, officers from the Judicial Enforcement Department had been on the trail of the man, who had been evading capture for an extended period. Through intelligence efforts and ongoing surveillance, they were able to determine his location.
After placing the area under surveillance, officers executed a planned ambush, resulting in the fugitive's arrest. The individual is wanted for cases involving indecent assault, kidnapping, and drug-related offenses.
He will be transferred to the appropriate judicial authorities to address the outstanding cases and warrants against him.
