Gaza: The Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Tuesday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli assault on the Strip has exceeded 60,000 since the war began on October 7, 2023, with a total of 60,034 people killed and 145,870 injured to date.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry's daily report highlighted that the past 24 hours alone saw 113 Palestinians killed and 637 injured amid continued Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas across the enclave.
The ministry added that several victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, as emergency and civil defense crews are unable to reach them due to relentless shelling and the near-total collapse of essential services.
