Gaza: Ninety-eight Palestinians were killed and 404 injured across the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours as Israel's aggression persisted, the Gaza Ministry of Health said Monday.
According to Jordan News Agency, forty-six of the fatalities and 239 of the wounded were targeted at aid distribution sites, bringing the "bread martyrs" death toll to 2,294 and more than 16,839 injured, as stated in the ministry's daily update.
It was also reported that Gaza hospitals recorded nine new deaths from starvation and malnutrition, including three children, in the last 24 hours. This raised the total number of famine victims to 348, including 127 children.
The latest casualties have increased the overall death toll to 63,557 since the conflict began on October 7, 2023, while the number of wounded individuals has risen to 160,660.
