Gaza: The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday reported 25 deaths in the last 24 hours, including 16 bodies pulled from the rubble and one individual who succumbed to his wounds from Israeli fire.
According to Jordan News Agency, 35 people were also injured in the past hours despite a ceasefire that generally held in the past days. The latest casualties have raised the death toll from Israel's war, which began on October 7, 2023, to 67,938, with the total number of injuries reaching 170,169.
The ministry noted that many victims remained under the rubble or on roads, with ambulances unable to reach them due to dire humanitarian and health conditions in the enclave.
