Gaza: The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that 79 individuals were killed and 391 were injured within the last 24 hours due to Israeli airstrikes targeting the region.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Ministry's daily report highlighted that many victims remain trapped under rubble or are located in areas that are currently inaccessible to ambulances and rescue teams. This latest surge in casualties increases the total death toll to 56,156 and the number of injuries to 132,239 since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023. Notably, since the resumption of hostilities on March 18 following a ceasefire, 5,833 fatalities and 20,198 injuries have been recorded.

The Ministry further reported that 33 civilians were killed and 267 injured while waiting at aid distribution points. This brings the total number of casualties related to food distribution to 549 deaths and over 4,066 injuries.
