The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said that 40 children in the Gaza Strip have been martyred daily over the past year as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Strip. "Gaza is the true embodiment of hell on earth for its one million children, who suffer unspeakable daily harm," UNICEF spokesperson James Elder said in press statements, adding that they have been repeatedly displaced by Israeli aggression and repeated evacuation orders. He explained that estimates indicate that more than 14,000 children have been martyred in Gaza, an average of between 35 and 40 girls and boys per day, stressing that the situation one year after the aggression is getting worse day by day.
