GCC countries officially sign contract to implement electricity interconnection project with Iraq

The Gulf Cooperation Council countries signed, today, Wednesday, a contract to implement the Gulf electricity market linkage project with Iraq.

The signing took place at the headquarters of the Gulf Electricity Interconnection Authority in Dammam, eastern Saudi Arabia, under the patronage of Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province.
