Amman: The German-Jordanian University has continued its upward trajectory in the QS World University Rankings 2027, improving its position to the 781-790 range. This marks a steady rise over recent years, following placements in the 801-850 band in 2026 and 901-950 in 2025, signaling consistent institutional progress.
According to Jordan News Agency, the university said on Thursday that the improved ranking reflects stronger overall performance and places it within the top half of universities worldwide, further solidifying its standing in Jordan's higher education landscape.
On key performance indicators, the university led nationally in faculty-to-student ratio, secured second place in international faculty presence, and ranked third in graduate employability. It also showed notable gains in sustainability-related metrics.
President Professor Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli attributed this progress to a clear long-term strategy and structured institutional planning. He emphasized that the university is actively expanding its global research footprint and strengthening partnerships with industry and international academic institutions.
