The German Embassy in Lebanon on Tuesday stated on X: "Civilians always suffer the most in times of conflict. In response to the recent escalation, Germany is providing an additional pound 62 million in humanitarian aid for Lebanon. Our support aims to provide relief to the most vulnerable groups. We are also prepared to respond quickly to urgent needs. This brings our total humanitarian assistance to Lebanon this year to pound 113 million. Through our swift response, we are providing food aid, protection, and medical assistance to internally displaced persons, refugees, and vulnerable communities."
