GJU and RCSSTEWA Discuss Cooperation in Space Technology

Amman: President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Dr. Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli, engaged in discussions on Wednesday with a delegation from the Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education for Western Asia (RCSSTEWA), led by Brig. Gen. Muammar Haddadin. The meeting focused on exploring joint cooperation opportunities in specialized education and training within the realms of space science and technology.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions centered on developing academic courses that cover the fundamentals of space science and technology. Additionally, the dialogue included plans for launching technical training sessions tailored for university students and interested parties from different sectors. This initiative aims to build scientific capabilities in the field of space technology.

Dr. Al-Halhouli emphasized the university's commitment to establishing partnerships with specialized scientific institutions. He advocated for the integration of space and technology concepts into university curricula to enhance student skills and align with global labor market requirements. Brig. Gen. Haddadin acknowledged GJU's role in the region's higher education landscape and confirmed RCSSTEWA's readiness to collaborate on training and research projects, providing practical knowledge in space science.
