The total number of global COVID-19 cases has surged to 168.417 million, as of Thursday, according to the Johns Hopkins University.
Citing the university’s figures, Bloomberg news agency reported that the latest update revealed that the current global death toll reached 3.498 million. More than 1.742 billion received the COVID-19 jab around the world.
